Honor's Story
Honor Potvin (’05 B.A.) has worked tirelessly to improve the community. She has been involved in programming at local and national levels across diverse sectors including education, research, health care and the legal system. Since 2009, she has served as chief operating officer of the Genesee Community Health Center. She co-led a successful effort to achieve the first-ever Federally Qualified Heath Center (FQHC) designation for a public community mental health authority in Flint, Michigan. This resulted in expanded access to primary care for thousands of low-income and homeless residents.
